Hot!!!

Again a hot day here in Bishkek. 42 degrees Celsius and still humid. But had a great fun today. Trying to arrange some documents we need. Well, Serbia is easy I can tell you! Very easy. My God. This country will not survive if it goes on like this.And what to do then? Bribes! Corruption. An incredible 10 euro for an important document,ok, no problem! Another five Euro to shorten the waiting time, oh, of course Sir, please wait 5 seconds. No, I am not really hopefull for this country.These rules are from somewhere around the 17th century
But the food is not from the 17th century. At least the way they prepare and take care, very good. And this fish dish was so tasty!
Like this dish. Besides the Zodiac Italian Minestrone soup never had a better one then this here. In Bishkek and called.....Serbian Bean Soup!
The Romans had a water system but here also! From time to time they open the water coming down from the mountains just outside Bishkek. And all this water takes care that the humidity in the city is higher. At least they say they do it for all the green in the city not to let it "die" in july or august as so often before due to the high temperatures. And by the way, what a great advertisement.......something to do with that great beer Tuborg or Lav?

As we often think that for instance The Netherlands (or even America hahaha) is far ahead in technology or innovative thinking, we all know the world is not so black-white. We know that in Serbia we can pay our parking-lot with phone/sms! No Western-European country ever had that idea and still doesnt use it. And here is a funny thing with passport pictures. You can go naked (well, not advisable but just for argument sake) or in your t-shirt, don't need to comb your hair or (for women) powder your face. Just sit, the picture is taken, and less then 5 minuts later you picture is ready. Like Elzar(Roza's son) who came in a t-shirt and comes out like a Harvard or Oxford student! All done in Photo-shop!
